Blogging Culture
i've been blogging on and off since 2004 and recently blogging seems to be the very very in thing. why do i blog? i've got no idea. it started out as a place to talk crap, then i thought i'd chronicle my adventures in japan but it now seems more like a photoblog than any other. of course they're plenty types of blogs, personal,political,tech,etc.. i do think that political blogs will bear an importance influence in our country's media.i guess they're doing what the mainstream media failed to do, to critisize obejectively and to give ideas of their own. issues that the mainstream media didn't dare to bring up are being continously pursue by them. it's a good thing, imho. it gives the public perspective. it gives another point of view.some bloggers do pursue good stuff, like bernard khoo's zorro unmasked, where he's fighting against MAS 2 child policy issue. or marina's fight against women's rights. cmon la, transport minister is an idiot when he said what he said. if he could give a sweeping statement like that, i think i deserve the right to say that 80% of the ministers are uneducated and talk rubbish and don't think before opening their very big mouths. To say that most bloggers are unemployed is very old fashioned. some bloggers might earn more than you through advertisement,adsense,sponsorship,etc.. and why is badawi so quiet about this issue? i'm disappointed in him the most. the public gave him a mandate to reshape the government but it still looks the same. he buys a plane and said the gov didn't buy it. petrol price by value is more than japan. rm1.91 per liter is more expensive than japan's 120-130 yen. considering the minimum wage here is about rm1500-2000 compared to japan's 200,000yen.toll rates are up(though it hardly affects east malaysians like me) and worse of all, he dare ask the public to buy shares. i don't think he's an economist and to speculate on the bull is just irresponsible. to speculate that the KLSE will reach 1350 and have it drop back to around 1100 is what?! can he compensate for the public's losses? gives true to my statement that ministers don't think before opening their BIG BIG mouths. i dont think even the BNM governor ,Zeti would dare advise the public to buy shares. back to blogging, as u can see,on my left are a few political blogs to read. highly educational and some are even funny(i.e Sheih's Kickdafella's photoshopped posters) read them if u have time. the mainstream media is just too..biased. i'm turning 21 this year and i dont know who to vote for in the next election :)
p.s: some pics from my garden..again!
