寮祭演芸会2008

The annual dorm festivals was last week and it started off with an 'engei kai' by they 1st yr students. engei basically means a performance of somewhat. This was my first time attending it as it isn't compulsory. i wasn't expecting much but they did put on quite a show.

highlights will always be the girl's performance. they did so so but i could tell that they were really nervous.
a skit about a murder, very japanese comedy style.

while it's a must for 1st yr students to perform, the 2nd yr girls did a short dance.the girl in the middle was trying to mimic haruhi suzumiya, an anime character. it's a good anime that everyone should watch.

there's even foreign criminals.
and the winners go to a parody of power rangers. i didn't have a good shot but their ultimate power is splitting the yellow guy/girl's leg wide open and shooting something out.lols
