a new record?

i've done pretty idiotic things being a photographer. i've forgot to charge my battery and could only get half the shots i wanted. i've forgot my tripod plate while bringing my 2kg monster out. today i did it again! while i must say i was already disappointed that there wasn't much to shoot but at the end of the day when i wanted to take my camera out, i noticed the EMPTY sign on my display... i forgot my memory card!!!! so imagine that i carried my camera,4 lenses including my huge 80-200 and of course my monster tripod. everything could easily 10kgs. and i trekked up mountain with that! imagine if autumn was in full force and there would be so many things to shoot. luckily it wasn't. if not i might jump of from the mountain itself :P

i guess its another lesson learnt.

goin hokkaido on tues, hopefully i don freeze to death.

Kosen Sai is Over

Over the last few weeks, i've been sleep deprived,sawing,chopping,drilling,screwing and everything else for this year's 高専際専門展.basically is a a competition between faculties in my place to see who can come up with better stuff and present it. well, simple to say, we didn't win but i'm not surprised.i'm not sad either. it was fun and the joy of seeing people go wow at the stuff we built or kids playing with our 'toys' was more than enough.over the course i took over a thousand pics and will slowly let them out.hehe

Hari Raya

It's pretty ironic actually. For 18 years when i was back in Malaysia, Hari Raya was never big on my celebration list. I stayed home most of the time except for the few visits i paid atika and rudy.My dad would drag me to some houses some years but its usually a quiet affair. This yr , celebrations was in full gear for me even though i was so busy. the night before raya, we had dinner..which includes soto, nasi himpit, and heavenly beef rendang. Then i was off to help prepare satay till 3 in the morning. it was for a joint lunch between the malaysians and indonesians in our area the next day. i ate quite abit throughout that day and it was fun. Next year with my senpais gone, i guess this would be the last as well.











on a side note, i'm freaking tired! and not feeling too well either. sigh.. 10 more days!!!
