Melbourne: the first few days
having so much pics, i'm not really sure on how to post them by place or by date or by??? bleh, in the end, i think doing it in chronological way would be easier to tell everything.
having landed in melbourne at about 4pm of july 18 and being picked up by steff(shit, i just realized i don have pic of her :( ) it was nice seeing her after form 5. she's still the same as ever. she then dropped me off at yon's and after a quick shower it was off the manchester lane, this jazz bar. food was so so... and it wasn't jazz tht night. eran james made a performance though. apparently, this local artist is pretty famous, appearing on qantas entertainment book on my flight back. i dont have pictures as i didn't bring my cam out but i do want them!!! send it to me
2nd day was sending manda off. abit sad that i only got to see her for a day....(pic from left:manda, jane, sae) then it was off to dfo(direct factory outlet) near the airport. stuff was cheap but i wasn't in the mood for shopping.
following day was walking out with grace, another friend whom i've not seen in ages!!! and yon. she showed me some grafitti near this alley , which i thought was pretty cool.yon and grace
grace and i
melbourne trams. i don't know whether to think it's dirt cheap or expensive... 3.30 for a 2 hour journey on all melbounre public transportation!3.30 aint a cheap price but being able to change between buses and trams n trains within the timeframe is pretty cost saving..
central library.. at first i was only interested in the FAMOUS exhibition(picutre) where this aussie photographer showcases her pics of famous people. it was really good. it was only later that denise brought sae and i there again that i was awed in amazement. the la trobe reading room looks like something out from beauty and the beast. must see if u're ever there.
that's it for the first few days...
